Job Purpose
The Junior Business Analyst will act as a strategic interface between business stakeholders and delivery teams, owning end-to-end requirements management for complex analytics, data, and technology initiatives. The role demands deep expertise in business analysis practices, stakeholder management, and solution design, with the ability to mentor junior analysts and drive outcomes for asset management and financial services clients
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Elicitation & Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct structured and unstructured requirements‑gathering sessions (interviews, workshops, design sprints)
- Engage with government entities, regulators, innovation teams, and private partners
- Translate high‑level policy or strategic visions into clear business and functional requirements
Business Analysis & Documentation
Develop and maintain
- Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)
- User stories and acceptance criteria
- Maintain requirements traceability (RTM) throughout the initiative lifecycle
- Ensure documentation aligns with governance, compliance, and quality standards
Process Modeling & Operating Model Design
- Document As‑Is and To‑Be processes using BPMN standards
- Define future‑state operating models supporting digital transformation and innovation
- Develop RACI matrices, SIPOC diagrams, and business capability maps
Digital & Data Enablement
- Collaborate with solution architects, product teams, and vendors on:
oDigital platforms
oData and analytics solutions
oAI‑enabled initiatives
- Support UAT planning, execution, defect triage, and sign‑off
- Contribute to change management, SOPs, training materials, and knowledge transfer
Key competencies
- Requirements tools: JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, SharePoint
- Process modeling: BPMN 2.0, Visio, Draw.io
- Documentation: BRD, FRS, User Stories, Use Cases, RTM
- Data & analytics exposure: SQL (basic–intermediate), reporting & dashboards, Power BI
