Associate

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated lawyer to join our Energy Litigation practice. The candidate will work on complex and high-value disputes arising in the energy and infrastructure sectors and will have the opportunity to advise clients and represent them in a range of contentious matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution matters relating to the energy sector.
• Assist in drafting pleadings, petitions, applications, written submissions and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research on issues relating to energy laws, regulations and commercial disputes.
• Assist in matters before courts, tribunals, regulatory authorities and arbitral tribunals.
• Analyse contracts, regulatory frameworks and other relevant documentation.
• Assist in preparing case strategies, legal opinions and advisory notes.
• Coordinate with clients, counsels and other stakeholders in relation to ongoing matters.
• Monitor developments in energy laws, regulations and judicial precedents.
• Manage assigned matters and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• LL.B. degree from a reputed law school/university.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in litigation, arbitration or energy-related disputes.
• Strong understanding of commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
• Exposure to the energy, power, infrastructure or related sectors will be an advantage.
• Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
