Associate IS Business Systems Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements & Documentation

• Collaborate with partners to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, operational diagrams, and manuals
• Create process maps and flowcharts to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements
• Maintain clear and actionable specifications aligned with project goals

Testing & Validation

• Assist in the development of test cases and test plans to validate solution functionality
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement

Security Integration & Training

• Participate in training sessions to understand security standard practices
• Educate users on security policies and procedures related to identity provisioning
• Collaborate with IT, HR, and security teams to integrate security into provisioning workflows

Agile & SAFe Practices

• Collaborate with business partners, architects, and engineering teams to prioritize product backlog and release scopes
• Facilitate the breakdown of Epics into Features and Sprint-sized User Stories
• Clearly express features and ensure requirements are well understood by all stakeholders
• Define and ensure Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done are met
• Participate and advise in SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect & Adapt workshops
• Provide ongoing feedback to ensure software development aligns with requirements

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2 to 6 years of relevant experience

Must-Have Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to create clear and detailed documentation (e.g., process maps, specifications)
• Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with IS Security
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
• Identity Provisioning or Security Certification (preferred)
