Role Description
The Learning Palette is looking for a full-time remote Instructional Designer to join the team. This role involves transforming Learning Maps into detailed, visually expressive storyboards and creating engaging learning experiences for e-learning courses developed in tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, or HTML. The Instructional Designer will write learner-centric content, visualize learning experiences screen by screen, and work closely with Senior Instructional Designers and the Media team.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert Learning Maps into detailed, screen-by-screen storyboards using PowerPoint and Word
- Write learner-focused content with strong instructional flow and clarity
- Design interactive learning strategies (scenarios, case studies, click and reveal, tabs, quizzes, etc.)
- Apply client feedback accurately across all related screens
- Review visual drafts and suggest refinements to maintain instructional intent
- Maintain documentation standards, version control, and consistency
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Strong instructional writing and content structuring skills
- Ability to visualize content into interactive learning formats
- Strong working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Office
- Basic understanding of e-learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, or HTML5
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and learner-centered design
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with feedback, revisions, and documentation
