Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate II to manage field sales and account operations in the ocular health pharma segment. This role focuses on sales performance, account development, forecasting, pricing strategy, and promotional activities to maximize product visibility and revenue. The ideal candidate will have strong pharma knowledge, sales experience, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and integrate account- or brand-specific forecasts for sales and operations planning.
  • Direct strategic pricing, promotion, and rebate management plans.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement pricing and promotional strategies to increase product visibility.
  • Execute rebate programs to maximize ROI and negotiate rebate contracts with suppliers.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and demand patterns to drive pricing and promotional decisions.
  • Develop robust pricing models and conduct regular pricing audits to prevent revenue leakage.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align pricing strategies and build strong business stakeholder relationships.
  • Define metrics to assess the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and drive continuous process improvement in pricing.
  • Facilitate training sessions to enhance the team's pricing capabilities.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and stock management with the S&O team.
  • Deliver individual performance plans by meeting or exceeding assigned targets.
  • Prepare and implement account development and territory business plans.
  • Apply scientific knowledge of therapeutic areas to effectively influence customers.
  • Identify and develop key opinion leaders (KOLs) for advocacy and increased product usage.
  • Complete all online training and timely submission of sales reports, tour plans, and secondary sales data.
  • Daily reporting of field activities and adherence to sales force effectiveness (SFE) KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with executional KPIs, corporate guidelines, and codes of practice.
  • Handle adverse events and product complaints at a local level, forwarding information to the Local Vigilance Representative.

Key Requirements / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharma/Science.
  • 2+ years of experience in pharma product sales or managed science-based selling with proven sales performance.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare system and its changing environment.
  • Strong selling skills in account development roles.
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
