Position Summary: As the Associate Human Resources (HR), you will be responsible for supporting the HR team in a variety of HR activities including Recruitment, Onboarding, Data Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, and other HR initiatives.

You will be reporting to Manager - Human Resources.

Compensation: Starting from Rs. 4.8L per annum plus benefits.

Responsibilities:

The HR team at Akanksha partners both with school teams and with Central support functions, to provide high-quality HR support in achieving the organization's mission and objectives. The HR team is responsible for effective recruitment, performance management and development, and employee engagement at Akanksha, and ensures that organizational policies are adhered to at all levels.

What your role will entail:

  • Supporting Mumbai /Pune/Nagpur location as HR poc in handling the entire HR-related activities for the allocated schools.
  • Sourcing & Recruitment: Responsible for the complete recruitment cycle for entry-level to mid-level roles. Campus hiring and other strategic partnerships for recruitment purposes.
  • Manage Employee Onboarding and effectively induct the new employees into the Akanksha system in collaboration with Managers
  • Collating and providing payroll inputs for salary processing of Employees and consultants for every pay period.
  • Managing Exit process and full and final settlement payout.
  • Manage data accurately for the assigned schools. Support the city team in HR Analytics.
  • To have a deep understanding of all HR policies and ensure timely implementation /execution.
  • Contribute to the HR team goals and priorities beyond individual goals and priorities. Actively participate and engage in any other initiatives planned by the team

Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience in relevant work experience in HR roles.
  • Proven experience in Hiring and data management.
  • Experience of working in development and non- profit sectors preferred.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree (Preferably in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Self-motivated and attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders
