Job Description

Position Summary

This role will require the person to understand the business/functional challenges and driving HR activities like employee engagement and relations, performance management, training development, retention, compensation etc. - The role holder will lead/facilitate the implementation of corporate HR initiatives/programs into the business to insure greater alignment with organization's HR policies and processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support preparation and coordination of non-immigrant visa cases, including H-1B, H-4, L-1, L-2, OPT, STEM OPT, and EAD applications.
  • Assist with immigrant visa case support, including PERM, I-140, and I-485 documentation and tracking.
  • Coordinate with external immigration counsel to facilitate timely and accurate filings.
  • Collect, review, and organize employee documentation required for immigration petitions.
  • Track case statuses, expiration dates, and regulatory deadlines using internal systems.
  • Assist with H-1B cap registration and lottery activities, including data validation and employee communications.
  • Support LCA postings, Public Access File (PAF) maintenance, and compliance documentation.
  • Support employees in visa stamping, 221(g) responses, and travel documentation.
  • Respond to routine employee and HR inquiries regarding immigration processes and timelines.
  • Assist in gathering documentation for Requests for Evidence (RFEs) under direction of senior team members.
  • Maintain accurate records to support internal audits, compliance reviews, and monthly reporting requirements.

Education

Master's Equivalent

Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience supporting U.S. employment-based immigration processes.
  • Working knowledge of USCIS, DOL, and DOS immigration frameworks.
  • Exposure to H-1B, L-1, OPT/STEM OPT, and basic PERM processes.
  • Basic understanding of SOC codes, wage levels, and LCA requirements.
  • Familiarity with immigration case management and document tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven and regulated environment. Job Location

    • Shift: U.S. business hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST / 6:30 PM–3:30 AM IST)
