Senior Automotive HIL Tester
Job Summary
As a Senior Automotive HIL Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of automotive software solutions. Your expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing will drive the validation of embedded systems, aligning with client requirements and industry standards. You will contribute to the development of test plans and the execution of comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring that the software we deliver meets the highest quality benchmarks. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Create And Review Test Cases Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specifications, Ensuring Thorough Coverage Of Functionalities In Automotive Hil Testing.
2. Execute Functionality Testing According To The Test Plan And Respective Test Cases, Applying Strong Understanding Of Embedded Systems To Assess Software Performance.
3. Contribute To The Development Of Test Plans Tailored To Assigned Projects, Leveraging Knowledge Of Automotive Systems And Hil Testing Practices To Enhance Testing Strategies.
4. Track Test Coverage, Defect Density, And Other Relevant Metrics Using Tools Like Matlab/Simulink And Publish Progress Reports To Stakeholders, Ensuring Transparency And Continuous Improvement.
5. Coordinate With Cross-Functional Teams For Discussions And Collaborate With Clients For Updates, Fostering Effective Communication And Ensuring Alignment On Testing Objectives.Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Automotive Hil Testing Methodologies And Practices
2. Proficiency In Tools Such As Matlab/Simulink And Other Hil Testing Environments
3. Familiarity With Embedded Systems And Software Testing Principles
4. Basic Knowledge Of Defect Tracking Tools And Metrics Analysis
