Reports to: Manager- Growth & Strategy

Your Role

1. Drive Growth Strategy

  • Own workstreams within market expansion and sector growth initiatives
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and help define where WAIG should (and shouldn't) play
  • Build market sizing, prioritization frameworks, and growth models

2. Push Deals Forward

  • Own proposal development end-to-end for select opportunities
  • Support senior leaders in high-stakes conversations with ministries and multilaterals
  • Help shape partnership structures, pricing logic, and investment cases

3. Execute Go-to-Market

  • Translate AI products into compelling GTM narratives for different countries and sectors
  • Track deal momentum and unblock issues across teams
  • Support early-stage negotiation prep and commercial thinking

4. Raise the Bar Internally

  • Guide Analysts and Fellows and review their work
  • Build better templates, tools, and processes as the team scales
  • Act as glue between growth, product, policy, and delivery teams

What You Will Own

You will own key pieces of WAIG's growth engine, from market and deal workstreams to live proposals and go-to-market execution. This includes shaping market insights, driving proposal and commercial analyses, keeping active opportunities moving, and working closely with product, tech, and marketing teams to position solutions for scale.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2-5 years in consulting, growth strategy, corporate development, or startups
  • Skilled in deal structuring, business modeling, and partnership management
  • Excellent executive communication, stakeholder influence, and storytelling skills
  • Comfortable operating in fast-changing, under-defined environments
  • Experience with tech, AI, or impact sectors is a plus, not a requirement
