Position Overview
As an Associate in Weaver & Tidwell, LLP growing GRC team, you will have the opportunity to develop into a seasoned consultant through a high degree of client and industry exposure, career development and mentorship opportunities, and a diverse and inclusive culture. To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related degree.
- CPA, CA, or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
- 1+ years of public accounting experience or its equivalent.
- Basic understanding of Commercial and Energy Industry, including retail/distribution, oil & gas, healthcare or life sciences.
- Basic understanding of frameworks including GAAP, COSO, Internal Audit, and Sarbanes Oxley.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project owners/stakeholders.
Additionally, The Following Qualifications Are Preferred
- Master's degree or further certifications/education, such as CIA.
- Experience with Commercial or Energy industry regulations, frameworks and best practices.
- Experience testing in Audit Board and/or Field guide.
