Associate (FS RnC)

Our Financial Services Advisory team specialises in providing internal audit, risk and compliance services to businesses predominantly in the financial services industry. Our team works closely with clients to understand their business and regulatory environment, identify areas where we can add value, deliver practical solutions across the banking, capital markets, insurance, trust and payment services sectors.

Responsibilities:

. Provide advisory and assurance-related services to financial services clients on regulatory, risk and compliance matter across different industry sectors.

. For regulatory audit, understand the relevant regulatory requirements and perform procedures to assess the relevant regulated requirements and perform procedures to assess regulated financial institutions compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.

. For internal audit, perform procedures to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, conduct regulatory health check on key business areas, recommend control improvements, and assess compliance with policies, procedures, sound business practices and relevant regulatory requirements.

. For outsourced regulatory compliance engagements, understand the requirements for regulatory returns and support the team in preparing and/or reviewing financial institutions regulatory returns for submission to the regulators.

. Gain exposure to wide range of engagements across different financial services sectors.

. Assist with other engagements or ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

. Candidate preferably with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law or an equivalent qualification from a reputable University. Candidate with other relevant qualifications will also be considered.

. Strong academic track record.

. Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong report writing skills.

. Meticulous, analytical and detail oriented.

. Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership potential.

. Abilityto work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment.

. A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

. Strong interest in the financial services sector.
