About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Finance & Taxation (UAE) to join our finance and compliance team. This role provides hands-on exposure to UAE accounting, taxation, and financial reporting standards, along with opportunities for onsite assignments in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts in compliance with IFRS standards
Prepare financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and MIS
Assist in UAE Value Added Tax (VAT) compliance, including registration, return filing, reconciliation, and audit support
Support UAE Corporate Tax (CT) computations, filings, and advisory services
Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
Assist clients with accounting system implementation and process improvement
Provide audit support including documentation and coordination
Liaise with internal teams and UAE clients for finance and compliance matters
Stay updated with changes in UAE tax laws, IFRS standards, and regulatory requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
ACCA completed (mandatory requirement)
Strong working knowledge of IFRS standards
Sound understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
Preferred Qualifications (for experienced candidates 1 to 3 years)
Experience in UAE accounting environment
Exposure to UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
Practical experience in preparing financial statements as per UAE regulatory standards
Experience handling UAE-based clients
Skill Requirements
Strong analytical and logical thinking
Attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, Oracle, or similar systems
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines efficiently
