Role Overview
JMAN Group is seeking an Associate Financial Controller to lead and support the finance team based in Chennai during a busy and critical period for the business. This role has been created to provide hands-on leadership and stability as we progress through statutory audits, manage ongoing tax and regulatory compliance in India, and support the global implementation of the Workday ERP system.
This is a 12-month fixed-term role, with an opportunity to extend or transition to a permanent position, subject to business needs and performance. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, and act as a strong link between the Chennai team and the global finance leadership.
Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant from a recognised professional body (e.g. CA India, ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA)
Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong commitment to accuracy and high-quality output
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and time zones
- Technical Proficiency
- Proficient in financial software and systems
- Advanced Excel skills.
