Role Overview:
The Associate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely completion of day-to-day transactions and activities within the Procure to Pay (P2P) process. This includes managing tasks related to Invoice Processing, Vendor Management, Travel & Expense Management, and Accounts Payable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing:
- Accurately process incoming invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Validate invoice details against purchase orders and receipts.
- Ensure timely payments while maintaining accuracy in financial records.
- Vendor Management:
- Maintain up-to-date vendor records and ensure accuracy in vendor data.
- Support vendor onboarding and resolve vendor queries related to payments.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve vendor discrepancies.
- Travel & Expense Management:
- Review and process employee travel and expense claims in line with company policies.
- Verify receipts, ensure proper documentation, and reconcile expenses.
- Accounts Payable (AP):
- Manage the AP cycle, ensuring timely processing of payments to suppliers.
- Perform reconciliation of vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
- Support month-end closing activities related to AP.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve P2P processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and generate reports as required.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Desired Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable, or related finance functions.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
