About The Role
We're looking for ERP System Administrators who want to transition into consulting. You'll work alongside experienced consultants on client implementations, gradually taking ownership of modules and smaller projects. This role is ideal for someone who combines business process understanding with a curiosity for technology and automation.
What You'll Do
In Your First 6 Months:
- Shadow senior consultants during client requirement gathering and workshops
- Understand client business processes across Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounts, and Manufacturing
- Configure ERPNext modules based on functional specifications
- Create process documentation, user manuals, and training materials
- Support UAT sessions and resolve user queries
- Assist in data migration and go-live activities
- Learn Python and JavaScript basics to understand system customizations
As You Grow (6-12 Months)
- Lead requirement gathering for specific modules
- Own end-to-end implementation of assigned modules
- Conduct discovery workshops with smaller clients
- Handle functional specifications for customizations
- Identify automation opportunities in client workflows
- Train client users and provide post-go-live support
- Contribute to pre-sales activities (demos, proposals)
- Write simple scripts for data imports and process automation
Beyond 12 Months
- Lead complete implementations for small to mid-sized clients
- Design automation solutions for repetitive client tasks
- Mentor junior team members
- Build expertise in specific industries or modules
- Participate in product development discussions
Required
What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years of experience as ERP System Administrator/Coordinator
- Hands-on experience with any ERP system (ERPNext/Odoo/SAP/Zoho/Tally ERP)
- Strong understanding of at least 2-3 business processes: Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounts
- Experience in user support, system configuration, and vendor coordination
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or trading companies (not IT services)
- Prior exposure to ERPNext or Frappe framework
- Has done minor customizations: custom fields, workflows, print formats, reports
- Experience explaining system functionality to non-technical users
- Basic exposure to scripting or automation tools

- Technology curiosity: Excited to learn Python and JavaScript (no prior coding required, but willingness to learn is essential)
- Automation thinking: Always asks can this be automated when seeing repetitive tasks

- Comfortable with ambiguity and client-facing conversations
- Quick learner who asks good questions
- Proficient in Excel and documentation tools
- Willingness to travel to client sites (20-30% travel)
