Job Title: Associate - Equity Research
Location: New Delhi or Mumbai, India
Role Overview
We are seeking a Research Associate - Equity Research to join our investment team in Delhi or Mumbai. The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio managers and senior research analysts to perform in-depth fundamental research on listed Indian equities and identify long-term investment opportunities.
This role offers exposure to high-quality institutional research practices, portfolio management insights, and direct engagement with company managements and industry participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct industry and company-level analysis to identify structural trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities.
- Perform benchmarking and comparative analyses of key operational and financial metrics across industry players.
- Execute financial statement analysis, valuation modeling, and sensitivity analysis to assess investment attractiveness.
- Monitor news, quarterly results, and business developments of portfolio and watchlist companies.
- Participate in management meetings, industry conferences, and earnings calls; prepare detailed meeting notes and summaries.
- Support portfolio managers with research updates, data analysis, and investment theses.
- Contribute to research reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
Candidate Profile
Education:
- CA with a graduate degree in Economics, Accounts, Business, or Mathematics.
- CFA Level 1 qualification (completed or pursuing) will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Equity Research, Investment Analysis, or related domains.
