Role: Associate Engineering Manager

Location: Bengaluru

As an Associate Engineering Manager in our Engineering department, you'll have the chance to:

You will have the opportunity to work with market stakeholders, innovate, design, scope out the end to end

product delivery by utilizing the best tech stack in order to solve the business challenges. You will be

responsible for supervising, managing team members, assessing the team performance on a daily basis. You

will be responsible for driving the career progression of your team members by creating different charters.

Who are your stakeholders

Key stakeholders include the Product Leads of various products, Leads of various teams across Engineering,

Data Science, Analytics, Trading departments.

What you'll bring

  • 6+ years experience bringing innovative products to the market
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams
  • Excellent grasp and hands on experience in one or more languages including an OO language
  • Experience building multi-tier web applications, experience working on all layers of the stack is a plus
  • Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Design & Design Patterns, algorithm & data structures.
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience working on CI/CD pipeline
  • Good understanding and experience of leading the development of distributed and scalable systems
  • Experience with SaaS, cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure(preferably AWS)
  • Good understanding of Big Data technologies and Distributed systems is a plus
  • Internalized and practices agile best practices from software architecture to product deployment
  • Product Development experience using Object-Oriented Language (Java) and experience in Microservices

architecture

What impact will you create

You will identify & evangelize frameworks and methodologies for building highly available, high-performance

systems. You ensure that design/architecture documents incorporate these practices and introduce new

tools and methodologies when appropriate to simplify or increase efficiency of development. You'll drive

evaluation of new tools via POCs and continuously evaluate how the team operates in different areas of

software engineering. You will Initiate changes necessary to move the team a step higher in adopting best

practices and critique the software product design and architecture and contribute to its evolution from the

inception.
