Qualifications:
BE/BTECH/PGs (Computer Science/IT background will be preferred)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Requirements:
These duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide product-related support to ship/office staff.
Provide support to users related to IT hardware and software, through phone, web, WhatsApp & email.
Manage end-user client relationship on a day to day basis.
Maintain a knowledge base of known defects, issues, process, techniques etc.
Update and manage problem tickets appropriately
Learn and be proficient with advanced user configuration options
Be able to deploy applications and troubleshoot defects
Ability to understand the client's business requirements.
Able to determine problems and deliver known solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction.
Provide 24/7 coverage, work in alternating shifts of day, evening and night.
Occasional travel/sail required for onsite implementations on vessel or office.
Provide trainings/demonstrations of company products to international clientele.
Key Skills
In depth knowledge of the Windows operating system and server administration.
Knowledge of the boot process. Install, restore, recovery of the Operating System.
Troubleshooting software/hardware issues with printers, routers and other peripherals.
Fundamental networking knowledge is required.
Understanding of virtualization and the cloud environment.
Knowledge of MS SQL Server will be a plus.
Knowledge of Web based applications / architecture (certificates, IIS, Web Services) will be preferred.
Configuration and understanding of basic email protocols POP/IMAP/SMTP.
Knowledge of backup and restore procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills & client service skills.
Able to think globally and work with various cultures / backgrounds.
Eagerness of exploring/learning company products and new technologies.
Good Analytical, logical and reasoning skills
