What You'll Do
Position's main focus will be development of 3D models and 2D drawings of components , sub-assemblies and assemblies to support for projects on Aftermarket LV and MV products. Release/industrialization of design through PLM software's like Model Manager and Enovia. Support to ECR/ECO, Corrective Action request to closure.
1. Contribute to product development by developing mechanical CAD drawings + 3D models of electro-mechanical components.
- Will be responsible of supporting NPI/Sustaining projects by developing CAD drawings and models of components , sub-assemblies and main assemblies for Aftermarket business
- Responsible for release of designs through PLM software's such as Enovia and Model Manager
- Work along with senior members to understand the design concepts and translate that into model / design in appropriate CAD tool such as Creo, Inventor,etc.
- Will be required to complete the tasks within the stipulated time and with high quality
- Will be responsible for CAPA(Corrective Action and Preventive Action) Requests from raising the ECR to Release on revise designs
Qualifications
B.E. Mechanical / Diploma
0 to 2 yrs / 3-5 yrs
Skills
1. Experience in plastic part & sheet metal part design. Awareness of plastic part, sheet metal manufacturing processes.
- Hands on experience on any CAD software, should have worked on parametric modeling, drawing detailing & Assembly build up (Creo Non-parametric/Inventor software experience will be an advantage).
- Understanding of any Product lifecycle management tool like Enovia, Model Manager etc. ( Enovia exp. is desirable)
- Understanding of GD&T principles & its application's
- Familiar with Tolerance stack up analysis.
- Experience in Sustaining engineering is desirable (i.e. execution of CO/CR) and should have an understanding of the PLM lifecycle.
- Concept building & Design thinking
Creating technical proposals, stakeholder communication, process definition , Willingness to learn
