We are seeking an Associate Engineer-Desktop Support to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our end-users, ensuring optimal performance of desktop systems and applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and applications.
- Assist users with software applications and operating system issues.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including updates and backups.
- Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement new technologies and solutions.
- Train users on new software and hardware technologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in desktop support or related technical support role.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components.
- Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
