Position: Associate Lawyer – Regulatory, Advisory and Litigation
Experience Level: 2-3 years
Language Requirement:Kannada (Fluent- Spoken)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior lawyers in preparation of case files, legal research, and drafting of pleadings, petitions, and applications.
- Draft and file various legal documents including petitions, affidavits, and applications.
- Engage in client meetings and maintain communication regarding case updates.
- Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and legal precedents relevant to ongoing litigation.
- Assist in preparing case strategies and provide timely legal advice to clients.
- Prepare and organize case files, including evidence collection and document review.
- Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations, particularly in the relevant jurisdictions.
Requirements:
- LLB (Bachelor of Laws) .
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in litigation.
- Fluency in Kannada spoken is MANDATORY due to the nature of client interaction and court appearances in Kannada-speaking regions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
- A keen interest in litigation and a proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
