Lawmen & White (L&W) invites applications for two full-time Associate positions at its office in Defence Colony, New Delhi.
Lawmen & White (L&&W) is a full-service law firm headquartered in Defence Colony, New Delhi, with a pan-India presence. The firm specializes in Supreme Court litigation and frequently practices before major appellate forums in New Delhi, including NCLT, NCLAT, NCDRC and others. L&W plays an integral role in strategizing and overseeing high stakes litigation and arbitrations across India.

Who We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates with substantial experience in Criminal litigation and Trial Court practice. Applicants should possess:
· Practical experience in handling criminal matters before Trial Courts.
· Sound knowledge of criminal law, procedure and court processes.
· Experience in bail applications, criminal complaints, discharge applications, revisions, appeals and other criminal proceedings.
· Familiarity with conducting trials, including examination and cross-examination of witnesses.
· Experience in drafting pleadings, applications, written submissions and case notes.
· Strong command over filing procedures and procedural compliance.
· Ability to independently manage matters and appear before courts.
· Sound judgment and the confidence to express independent legal views.
· Ability to work across commercial litigation, arbitration and other areas of law.
Key Responsibilities
· Independently handling criminal and other litigation matters before Trial Courts.
· Assisting in trial preparation, evidence review and examination of witnesses.
· Drafting pleadings (including bails, quashing petitions, criminal writs and SLPs), applications, written submissions and case notes.
· Appearing before Trial Courts, High Courts, the Supreme Court and other fora.
· Briefing Senior Counsels.
· Managing filing, case strategy and procedural compliance.
· Coordinating with clients and maintaining responsibility for assigned matters.
Remuneration and Growth
Remuneration will be commensurate with industry standards, and high performing associates will be incentivized and groomed for leadership roles within the firm.
Delhi-based candidates will be preferred, although applications are open to candidates from across India.
