About the role:

Our product team is dedicated to solving our customer's problems and is passionate about being a pioneer in technology innovation for specific business problems that are valuable but also viable. Our product managers contribute to our product team a solid knowledge of the various constraints of the business and a deep understanding of our users and customers, deep empathy on customer problems and the data about how our customers engage with our products. Finally, our product managers are expected to track industry trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to her product and provide recommendations on new opportunities and markets.

As a Associate Director Product Manager, you will also act as an evangelist and influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through your use of data and logic.

Key responsibilities:

• Understand the product vision and strategy
• Create product roadmap, identify the product market fit, areas for investment and potential for innovation in the market
• Break down the product vision and design product strategy to achieve vision
• Business Requirements - Create and maintain business requirements for the technical teams
• Execution of Product Planning and Development – Include customer goals and business requirements for product release, ensuring implementation is aligned with product goals and requirements
• Conduct usability tests to validate business ideas
• Prepare detailed product documentation to aid in seamless communication across the functions such as product, design, engineering, business etc.
• Work as a product owner as part of our agile teams, run sprints and lead product delivery

Requirements

• 10+ years of Product Management experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of credit and risk practices/ processes at lending institutions and experience at a Fintech/ Bank/ NBFC (preferred)
• Experience crafting a seamless credit journeys leveraging third-party services/ APIs is a plus
• Prior experience and knowledge of Account Aggregator and Credit Analytics products such as Bank Statement Analysis, IT return Analysis, GST Return analysis etc. is a plus
• Structured problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
• Possess good knowledge of agile project delivery and has experience working with agile teams.
• Strong experience in defining and documenting business requirements and functional specifications
• Robust verbal and written communication skills with proven experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
• Ability to see the big picture, effectively evaluate trade-offs and drive consensus across business units and serve as an effective liaison between customers and engineering.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
• Proactive and self-motivated to deliver excellence independently
• Bachelors in Commerce/ Finance/ technology/ engineering
• CA/ MBA/ Masters in Finance (preferred)
