Role Summary

The Assistant Director will lead AI-driven transformation initiatives, drive business excellence programs, and own the creation and execution of strategic roadmaps . This role requires a blend of technology leadership, program management, business transformation expertise, and hands-on understanding of emerging AI technologies including Generative AI and Agentic AI.

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Roadmap

  • Develop and deliver the enterprise AI roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases across business functions.
  • Drive adoption of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and other emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and business value.
  • Monitor technology trends and recommend innovative solutions for competitive advantage.

Business Excellence Leadership

  • Own and lead the Business Excellence function.
  • Establish frameworks, governance models, KPIs, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Drive process optimization and operational excellence initiatives across the organization.
  • Measure and report transformation outcomes and business impact.

Transformation Program Management

  • Create and execute the enterprise transformation roadmap.
  • Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives from business case development through implementation and value realization.
  • Define program governance, milestones, risk management plans, and success metrics.
  • Ensure alignment between business, technology, and operational stakeholders.

Product & Solution Development

  • Collaborate with internal development teams and external vendors to build AI-powered products and solutions.
  • Evaluate build-vs-buy opportunities and manage vendor partnerships.
  • Support product strategy, development, deployment, and adoption initiatives.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage senior leadership and business stakeholders to drive consensus and decision-making.
  • Present transformation strategies, business cases, and progress updates to executive leadership.
  • Foster collaboration across technology, operations, business, and external partners.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have

  • Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in AI-related roles such as AI Developer, AI Program Manager, AI Transformation Lead, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and delivering business transformation programs.
  • Proven track record of creating and implementing transformation business cases with measurable outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience leading organization-wide strategic initiatives and change programs.
  • Strong understanding of:

  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • AI automation platforms
  • Emerging enterprise AI technologies
  • Strong program and project management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale AI transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and AI deployment ecosystems.
  • Experience working with both internal development teams and third-party vendors.
  • Understanding of process excellence methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.
