We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Delivery Management

In This Role You Will

  • Technology Delivery and Change Execution Excellence ensuring delivery aligns to HSBC Strategies and Principles
  • Managing programme strategy and the programme delivery approach across a series of projects or component activities, building business and technology stakeholder relationships
  • Delivery, governance & reporting to stakeholders including the Product owner in the business, head of a service line or Product within Technology
  • Ensuring that all Technology practices and associated tools are being adopted and adhered to within the Programme

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or relevant Finance/Technology experience
  • Sufficient technical skill on Operations technology/solution landscape
  • Ability to quickly learn technology/solution landscape
  • Leadership skills needed for managing a team of technical specialists
  • Should have sufficient technical and market knowledge on E2E digitization and automation solutions and practices
  • Proven leadership skills including coaching, motivation and communications skills to inspire others
  • A thorough understanding of the purpose, value, culture and fundamentals of banking environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and communications skills
  • Experience in managing individuals in different geographies
  • Strong knowledge on financial management
  • Experience in dealing with senior management, business and wide array of global stakeholders
  • Team-oriented mentality combined with ability to complete tasks independently to a high quality standard
  • Experience within fast-moving, complex and demanding corporate environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver technical messages to a non-technical audience
  • Strong team skills promoting an environment of co-operation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered
  • Experience working in WPB Ops or Ops Tech strongly desired
