Position Summary & Scope
Indirect Tax (GST):
- To verify the accuracy of all GST related submissions prepared by assistant tax manager for monthly and periodic compliance and coordinate with the Consultant for timely and accurate return filing.
- To coordinate with legal team to update the GST related contractual terms in line with the latest GST provisions
- To suggest necessary changes to be made in ERP as per GST law to Financial Controller and work with the local ERP consultant for making agreed changes in ERP
- To provide guidance to the team members and ensure the solving of day to day queries in regards to GST
- To prepare reconciliations and details in necessary format in relation to GST for Statutory audit, GST audit and Income Tax audit and liaison with the auditors for timely completion
- To ensure proper submission and representation during audit/ assessments and support Financial Controller along with liaison with the external tax experts
- To maintain compliance tracker, tax opinions and tax records for all the working and submission done for audits and assessment.
Direct Tax:
- To manage accurately, timely and as per the regulations TDS and advance tax payments of the Company
- To verify / prepare all the Tax returns along with the underlying working and ensure the accurate filing of the tax returns - TDS returns, Income tax returns, Transfer pricing returns etc
- To ensure proper submission and representation for transfer pricing audit & Transfer pricing assessment and also to effectively liaise with the external experts for the same.
- Responsible for the timely completion of tax audit & transfer pricing audits and liaise with the auditors
- To maintain compliance tracker, tax opinions and tax records for all the working and submission done for audits and assessment.
- Coordination and timely submission to HQ for the details requested.

Educational Qualifications Required - CA
Relevant Experience - 8 to 10 years
