Associate Director - Talent Acquisition (Non Tech)

Role Responsibilities

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Lead to steer our hiring engine. You will be responsible for end-to-end TA strategy for high-impact roles while simultaneously mentoring a team of recruiters and optimizing our talent stack. Your goal is to build a diverse, high-performing workforce that scales with our 2026 growth commitments.

1. Strategic Talent Advisory

  • Partner with Department Heads (Category, Revenue, Sales, Ops) to conduct quarterly workforce planning and gap analyses.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability.
  • Lead the Build vs. Buy conversationhelping managers decide when to upskill internally versus hiring externally.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on workforce planning and talent needs.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all hiring practices.

2. Full-Cycle Execution (High-Stakes Roles)

  • Manage a personal portfolio of priority requisitions (Executive & Niche).
  • Leverage advanced sourcing techniques beyond LinkedIn (Github, Slack communities, AI-driven sourcing tools).
  • Deliver the best candidate experience, ensuring every applicanthired or notbecomes a brand advocate.

3. Campus Hiring Charter

  • Design and execute a robust campus hiring program to attract early-career talent.
  • Build long-term partnerships with universities, institutes, and student communities.
  • Create innovative engagement strategies to nurture talent pipelines.
  • Represent the company at external forums, universities, and industry events.
  • Build and strengthen the employer brand to attract top talent.

4. Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Mentor & Coach: Provide weekly 1:1s to the team, focusing on negotiation tactics and candidate engagement.
  • Process Design: Audit and improve the hiring funnel (from initial outreach to onboarding handoff) to reduce Time-to-Hire without sacrificing quality.
  • DEI Integration: Implement blind screening processes and diverse slate mandates to ensure equitable hiring.

5. Data & Technology

  • Oversee the health of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and AI integration tools.
  • Present monthly Talent Health Reports to leadership, highlighting metrics like Quality-of-Hire and Offer Acceptance Rates.

Who are we looking for

Experience:

-12+ years in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 5 years in a Lead or Senior capacity.

-Tech Savvy: Expert-level knowledge of modern ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, etc.) and AI-sourcing assistants.

-Soft Skills: Exceptional persuasion skillsyou can navigate complex counter-offers and sell the company vision to passive candidates.

-Analytical Mindset: You enjoy digging into data to find out why a certain stage of the funnel is leaking candidates.

-Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or equivalent practical experience.

Skills & Competencies:

-Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

-Strong interpersonal and communication skills (story telling) with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.

-Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with high autonomy and accountability.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Google Suite.

Presentation skills (PPT making).

Language Proficiency: English fluency.
