Role Purpose:
We are hiring an Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships, AI-led Payments, who will work closely with Sales Leadership to drive adoption of Pine Labs emerging AI-powered payment and commerce solutions. This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and technology, and focuses on translating complex AI capabilities into tangible business value for enterprise clients.
You will partner with senior sales leaders to shape client conversations, co-sell solutions, and build early market traction for agentic and AI-enabled payment products. This is a high-ownership role suited for individuals who can operate in evolving environments and contribute to building a new category of solutions.
Pine Labs is expanding its product portfolio to include AI-led and agentic commerce solutions that integrate intelligence into payment and financial workflows. As these products move from development to market, there is a clear need to enable enterprise adoption through solution-led selling. This requires translating new and evolving capabilities into clear, outcome-driven value propositions for large corporates and merchants. The role will support sales leadership in building this narrative, driving early adoption, and shaping go-to-market approaches for AI-enabled payment solutions.
Responsibilities we entrust you with:
- Drive adoption of AI-led payment and commerce solutions across large enterprise clients and merchants
- Enable successful conversion of strategic deals through solution-oriented selling and co-creation with clients
- Establish clear, repeatable value propositions and use case narratives for AI-enabled payment offerings
- Strengthen alignment between Sales, Product, and Engineering through structured feedback from client engagements
- Contribute to building a scalable go-to-market approach for emerging AI products within Pine Labs
- Partner with Sales Leaders to co-own and drive strategic client engagements for AI-led payment solutions
- Translate product capabilities into client-specific solutions aligned to business objectives and outcomes
- Participate in client discussions, presentations, and workshops to articulate value propositions and use cases
- Support deal structuring including solution scope, commercials, and implementation approach
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay client feedback and refine offerings
- Build industry-specific use-case narratives and solution playbooks to enable broader sales adoption
- Track key deal progress, identify risks, and proactively drive closure in partnership with sales stakeholders
What matters in this role:
- 6 to 12 years of experience in pre-sales, solutioning, consulting, or enterprise sales roles
- Demonstrated transition into or exposure to full-cycle enterprise sales or strategic account management
- Experience selling SaaS, fintech, or technology-led solutions to large enterprises preferred
- Educational background from a reputable institution preferred
- Proven ability to engage with multiple stakeholders in complex sales environments
- Familiarity with SaaS, fintech, or platform-based business models
- Exposure to payments, financial services, or emerging technology solutions
- Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-evolving product environments
