About the Role

Newton School of Technology is a new-age engineering institute focused on Computer Science, AI, and emerging technologies, built with deep industry integration and strong placement outcomes.

The Associate Director – Startup Sales will lead strategic hiring accounts across high-growth startup ecosystems and manage a portfolio of marquee technology companies.

This role combines enterprise sales, strategic account management, team leadership, and ecosystem building.

You will work closely with founders, CTOs, Heads of Engineering, CHROs, and Talent leaders to drive large-scale internship and placement partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own strategic relationships across unicorns, soonicorns, Series C+ startups, and AI companies.
  • Drive account growth, repeat hiring, and long-term engagement.
  • Own placement and internship targets for the assigned portfolio.
  • Lead and mentor a team of KAMs/sales managers.
  • Build strong outbound and account management processes.
  • Represent NST across startup, founder, and technology ecosystems.
  • Track market trends and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • 6–10 years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic accounts, recruitment consulting, HR-tech, edtech or startup ecosystems.
  • Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and strategic accounts.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and commercial skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-growth environments.
  • Strong understanding of startup and technology hiring ecosystems.
