About the Role:

As part of the Domestic Acquisitions team, this role focuses on identifying and building partnerships that drive meaningful business outcomes. It requires a strong understanding of the sports ecosystem, the ability to assess market dynamics and strong commercial judgement. The role will work across product, content, marketing, analytics and revenue teams, using data and insights to guide decisions and unlock value across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Partnerships

- Continuously track the sports media ecosystem to identify emerging opportunities, with a strong understanding of how trends could impact our business and shape future strategy

- Maintain a clear view of the competitive landscape, with the ability to assess what can scale meaningfully for us

- Build and manage long-term relationships with external partners, while identifying new areas of collaboration

- Structure partnership models and value propositions, and actively support negotiation and closure of deals

- Work closely with product, content, marketing and analytics teams to identify gaps and drive interventions across the portfolio

  • Strategy, Planning & Execution

- Support key strategic initiatives through structured problem solving, research, stakeholder alignment and execution

- Build clear, concise presentations for leadership reviews, partner discussions and business updates

- Develop simple frameworks and SOPs to guide product, content and marketing interventions aimed at improving discoverability and viewership

- Identify gaps across product experience and discoverability and work with internal teams to address them

  • Business Intelligence & Insights

- Track the market, competitive landscape, sponsorship trends and rights developments relevant to our business

- Use viewership and revenue data to inform decisions and drive interventions

- Work with analytics teams to build season reviews, evaluation reports and inputs for long-term planning

- Support the acquisition pipeline through research, evaluation and commercial assessment

- Translate data into clear, actionable insights that support internal alignment and partner discussions

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • 810 years of experience in Sports Media, Federations or Agencies across Strategy, Growth, Partnerships or Monetisation roles.
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with the ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative inputs.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas simply and clearly, both in writing and in person.
  • Experience managing cross functional projects and driving outcomes independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with comfort working across senior leadership and multiple teams.
  • Understanding of linear and digital viewership data is a plus.
