Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineering lead to build our next-generation SaaS platform for commercial real estate loan servicing. You will work on challenging problems across the entire stack, from intuitive user interfaces to robust backend systems that process billions of dollars in loan data. This is an opportunity to have significant impact in a fast-growing fintech startup revolutionizing the commercial real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

  • Design and implement responsive, intuitive interfaces for loan servicers, Lenders and borrowers.
  • Build complex data visualization and dashboard components for loan portfolios
  • Create workflows for document upload, review, and approval processes
  • Develop real-time notifications and collaboration features
  • Ensure accessibility and performance across devices and browsers

Backend Development

  • Build scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Design and implement microservices for loan servicing workflows
  • Develop secure, multi-tenant architecture with role-based access control
  • Create data processing pipelines for loan documents and financial data
  • Integrate with third-party APIs

Data & ML Integration

  • Work with Data Science team to integrate ML models for document extraction and risk analytics
  • Build interfaces for AI-powered features like automated document processing
  • Implement feedback loops and monitoring for ML model performance
  • Create tools for loan servicers to review and validate AI-generated insights

Platform & Infrastructure

  • Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
  • Help establish engineering best practices and coding standards
  • Lead team, take ownership of the project and resolve complex issues/escalations.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
  • Solid backend development skills in .Net/C#
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQLServer
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure)
  • Familiarity with Containerization/Kubernetes for hosting
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building SaaS or fintech products
  • Knowledge of financial services, lending, or real estate technology
  • Frontend expertise with TypeScript and modern React (hooks, context, etc.)
  • Backend experience with Python/FastAPI or Node.js/Express
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Experience integrating ML models or AI features into applications
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Contributions to open-source projects

Frontend

  • React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • State management (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
  • UI libraries (Tailwind, Material-UI, Ant Design)

  • Participate in sprint planning and daily standups

  • Work with Data Science team to integrate ML capabilities
  • Debug production issues and optimize system performance
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Participate in engineering discussions and architectural decisions
