Key Responsibilities
Organic Growth Strategy & Leadership
Lead the organization& SEO function as a Centre of Excellence, driving strategy
across SEO, GEO, and AEO.
Define and execute long-term organic growth strategies aligned with business
objectives, revenue targets, market expansion, and brand visibility.
Build a scalable, future-ready organic search practice that adapts to AI-driven search
experiences, zero-click searches, and evolving search technologies.
Establish frameworks and best practices to drive sustainable organic growth across
all business verticals.
Business Growth & Commercial Ownership
Own organic growth performance against key business metrics including traffic,
leads, customer acquisition, conversions, and revenue.
Identify high-impact growth opportunities across markets, categories, and digital
platforms.
Translate business priorities into scalable organic growth initiatives with measurable
ROI.
Continuously optimize strategies to maximize commercial outcomes.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing SEO team comprising Managers,
Associate Managers, and Executives.
Build team capabilities across technical SEO, content strategy, AI search optimization,
analytics, and automation.
Define team structure, hiring plans, performance frameworks, career development
plans, and succession strategies.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Integrated Search Strategy (SEO | GEO | AEO)
Develop and execute unified search strategies across:
Traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
Voice Search and Conversational Search
Drive brand visibility across:
Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs)
AI-generated search experiences
Featured snippets
Knowledge panels
Voice assistants
Conversational AI platforms
Cross-functional Leadership
Partner with Product, Engineering, Content, Media, Analytics, Brand, and Marketing
teams to embed organic search into business initiatives.
Influence product and technology roadmaps to ensure SEO and AI discoverability are
integrated from inception.
Act as the central stakeholder for all organic growth initiatives across the
organization.
Drive alignment between business goals and organic search strategy.
Technical SEO & Innovation
Oversee enterprise-level technical SEO initiatives including site architecture, crawl
optimization, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and website performance.
Ensure websites are optimized for AI crawlers, entity-based search, semantic search,
and emerging discovery platforms.
Leverage AI tools, automation, and advanced analytics to improve efficiency,
scalability, and search performance.
Evaluate emerging technologies and implement innovative organic search solutions.
Content & Authority Strategy
Define scalable content frameworks aligned with user intent, customer journeys, and
AI search behavior.
Collaborate with content teams to build topical authority, entity optimization, and
semantic relevance.
Drive authority-building initiatives including digital PR, brand mentions, backlink
strategy, and off-page optimization.
Ensure content is optimized for discoverability across both traditional search engines
and AI-powered search experiences.
Client & Executive Stakeholder Management
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership and clients on organic
growth opportunities.
Present performance insights, growth strategies, and executive dashboards to senior
stakeholders.
Build confidence in SEO as a key business growth channel by demonstrating
measurable commercial impact.
Manage executive-level stakeholder relationships with a consultative approach.
New Business & Thought Leadership
Support agency growth through SEO-led new business pitches and strategic
proposals.
Develop thought leadership content, frameworks, POVs, and case studies on SEO,
GEO, and AEO.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, webinars, and client
forums.
Position the organization as a leader in next-generation organic search and AI
discoverability.
Measurement, Reporting & Governance
Define performance measurement frameworks across SEO, GEO, and AEO.
Establish reporting dashboards tracking organic visibility, AI search presence, answer
engine performance, traffic, engagement, and business outcomes.
Implement governance models to ensure consistent execution, reporting standards,
and continuous optimization.
Drive data-led decision-making across all organic initiatives.
Training & Future Readiness
Lead internal capability-building programs on SEO, GEO, AEO, AI search trends, and
automation.
Ensure teams remain updated on evolving algorithms, search technologies, and
industry best practices.
Translate emerging trends into actionable business strategies and scalable
frameworks.
Champion a culture of continuous learning and innovation across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of experience in SEO with proven leadership experience in managing large
teams and enterprise SEO programs.
Strong expertise in Technical SEO, Content Strategy, Analytics, AI Search, GEO, and
AEO.
Experience leading SEO strategy for enterprise brands or digital agencies.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link organic initiatives to business
growth.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming
Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Botify, Looker Studio, and AI-driven SEO platforms.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation
skills.
Demonstrated experience in driving innovation and building future-ready organic
search capabilities.
