About The Team

The Performance Marketing team are one of the leading teams responsible for driving traffic to the website and stores thereby generating revenue. This team leverage digital marketing channels within paid media landscape to deliver total campaign metrics and optimize ROI for maximum profitability by creating programs from concept to execution or optimizing current programs.

Job Summary

Lowe's is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Associate Director with 12+ years of hands-on and strategic experience in retail media or digital performance marketing. In this role, you will lead a high-performing cross-channel activation team, drive strategic excellence, build scalable operational frameworks, and partner across the organization.

You will oversee paid search & paid social teams for Lowe's enterprise, co-own long-term strategy and workflow improvements, champion closed-loop retail measurement and help position Lowe's as a best-in-class retail company. This role combines leadership, platform expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a product-minded approach to innovation.

This role acts as a domain + people leader internally and externally - guiding teams, influencing product roadmaps, and elevating performance marketing best practices across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the performance marketing teams across paid search, paid social, and emerging channels to drive revenue and customer growth.
  • Own large-scale performance marketing budgets with accountability for ROI, CAC, LTV, and incremental impact, leveraging advanced measurement, attribution, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Define and evolve the performance measurement and attribution approach in partnership with analytics, data science, and mar tech teams to improve decision-making and forecasting.
  • Translate business objectives into scalable performance marketing plans, including annual and quarterly roadmaps, growth targets, channel mix strategy, and structured test-and-learn agendas.
  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams, including people managers and senior ICs, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with brand, product, creative, finance, and technology teams to deliver integrated planning, strong media performance, and seamless customer experience.
  • Identify, test, and scale new growth opportunities across platforms, formats, audiences, automation, and AI-driven optimization to accelerate performance.
  • Partner with agency & platforms to deliver executive-level performance reporting, ensuring strong governance, clear insights, and measurable business outcomes.

Years Of Experience

  • 12+ years in a similar role preferably in advertising agency or retail industry

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree one is marketing on related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

  • Performance Marketing Leadership: Deep expertise across paid search, paid social, programmatic, and emerging performance channels, with experience leading integrated, large-scale strategies.
  • Measurement, Attribution & Analytics: Strong command of performance measurement frameworks including attribution modeling (MTA/MMM), incrementality testing, and forecasting, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Budget & Financial Management: Proven experience managing large performance marketing budgets with accountability for ROI, CAC, LTV, and incremental revenue impact.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Ability to translate business objectives into scalable performance marketing plans, including annual and quarterly roadmaps, channel mix strategy, and structured experimentation frameworks.
  • People Leadership: Demonstrated experience building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams, including people managers and senior individual contributors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across brand, product, e-commerce, CRM, creative, finance, analytics, and technology teams.
  • Executive Communication: Ability to develop clear, executive-level reporting and narratives that communicate performance, insights, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Secondary Skills (desired)

  • Advanced Analytics & Data Science Partnership: Experience partnering closely with analytics or data science teams on advanced modeling, automation, and forecasting initiatives.
  • Creative Optimization Expertise: Strong understanding of creative testing frameworks, audience segmentation, personalization strategies, and insight-led iteration.
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Experience leading agencies and external partners, including setting strategy, governance, and performance expectations.
  • Innovation & Emerging Technology: Exposure to automation, AI-driven optimization, and new performance marketing platforms or formats.
  • Enterprise or Omnichannel Experience: Background in large-scale, complex organizations (e.g., enterprise retail, e-commerce, marketplace, or omnichannel environments).
