General Description Of Role
We're looking for an experienced client‑facing leader to help us take Aon's general insurance pricing technology offering to the next level. If you enjoy working at the intersection of people, technology and analytics, this role offers the chance to make a visible impact across the (re)insurance market.
You'll join a tight‑knit, friendly team that brings together actuarial expertise and software development capabilities, working in close partnership to drive adoption of Aon's Pricing Platform. As a key member of this team, you'll play a central role in meeting and exceeding client expectations by leading teams that deliver high‑quality, cutting‑edge pricing solutions and projects.
Job Responsibilities
This role will encompass a wide variety of work. Initially, you can expect to be involved with the following:
- Client Support:Lead technical client workshops to capture business requirements, coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams to design and implement pricing modelling solutions, and provide ongoing user support and training on our systems.
- Product and Service Development:Help shape and evolve our pricing technology and services by keeping abreast of market developments, client needs and regulatory changes, identifying opportunities for Aon to add more value.
- Sales Support:Play an active role in business development through proof‑of‑concept work, product demonstrations and trials that showcase the impact of our solutions.
There will also be the opportunity to get involved in helping support the career development and growth of other actuarial team members through line management and mentoring responsibilities.
Skills/Competencies Required
- Experience of overseeing the delivery of and/or developing actuarial tools
- Experience of coding, Python or SQL are desirable
- A self-motivated team player that works collaboratively
- Clear and inclusive communicator who adapts their style to different audiences and builds positive, trust‑based relationships
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
Required Education And Certifications Critical For The Role
- Numerate degree such as Mathematics / Statistics / Economics
- Qualified, or part qualified actuary, clearing SP7 and SP8 exams
Required Experience For The Role
- Minimum work experience of 7 years in Consulting or Insurance companies
- Of this, a minimum of 3 years experience in P&C pricing or capital (GAAP, Solvency II, IFRS)
