Job Description

As our new Associate Director of Training, you will be responsible for driving a culture of learning and performance excellence across the hotel. You will play a key role in developing our people, enhancing service standards, and ensuring our teams are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

From designing impactful training programs to supporting leadership development and operational excellence, you'll contribute directly to the hotel's overall success.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

  • Designing, implementing, and facilitating training programs that align with brand standards and business goals
  • Identifying training needs across departments and developing strategies to address skill gaps
  • Supporting onboarding and induction programs to ensure new colleagues are set up for success
  • Coaching and mentoring department leaders to strengthen team performance and engagement
  • Driving a culture of continuous learning and development across all levels of the organization
  • Monitoring training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and audits
  • Collaborating with department heads to ensure training initiatives support operational excellence
  • Maintaining training records, compliance documentation, and learning management systems
  • Supporting leadership development initiatives and succession planning efforts
  • Ensuring all mandatory training and brand standards are consistently met

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in training, learning & development, or hospitality operations
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to influence and engage teams across different functions
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with training systems or learning management platforms
  • Must speak local language(s)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and drive a positive learning culture
