Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Associate Director – Finance to drive financial planning, business forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and strategic financial analysis across the organisation.

This role will work closely with business leaders and leadership teams to provide actionable insights, improve financial efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in FP&A, MIS reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and stakeholder management, along with excellent communication and technical skills. Good academics would add up to your profile fitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive MIS reporting, financial dashboards, cash flow statements, and business performance reporting
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across business units
  • Perform variance analysis across revenue, margins, operational costs, and business performance metrics
  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closure processes in collaboration with accounting teams
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities and improve overall financial efficiency
  • Build financial models, business projections, and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Ensure accurate reporting, audit readiness, and compliance across finance operations
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting standardization within the FP&A function
  • Present financial insights and performance updates to leadership stakeholders

Requirements

  • CA qualification is mandatory.
  • 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, business finance, or related domains
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial analysis
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving business environment
  • Experience in startups, internet businesses, SaaS, marketplaces, or high-growth organizations preferred
