Role Overview:

We are looking for an Associate Director - Merchant Success to build and lead Snapmint's merchant success function across merchant growth, SLA management, onboarding, supply expansion, and account management. The role will drive merchant GMV growth while ensuring strong operational performance and merchant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement merchant tiering models (Tier A/B/C) with differentiated account management cadence, SLAs, and commercial terms
  • Own relationships with key merchants including GMV reviews, growth planning, EMI co-funding discussions, and catalog expansion
  • Manage Merchant Account Managers across Tier B & C merchants and track merchant-level GMV performance
  • Define and enforce merchant SLAs across dispatch TAT, cancellation rates, listing quality, and image standards
  • Lead weekly merchant performance reviews and SLA breach management processes
  • Own end-to-end merchant onboarding with a target onboarding TAT of 7 days
  • Build merchant dashboards tracking GMV, cancellations, dispatch compliance, returns, and customer reviews
  • Develop merchant intelligence reports covering customer LTV, EMI trends, repeat purchases, and demand insights
  • Partner with Category teams to onboard new merchants and expand supply across priority categories
  • Drive merchant growth targets: 250+ active merchants within 12 months and 500+ within 24 months
  • Build and scale the Merchant Success team including Account Managers and Onboarding roles

Qualifications:

  • 7-12 years in merchant success, seller operations, category management, or marketplace operations
  • Strong understanding of D2C brand ecosystems and ecommerce marketplaces
  • Experience building merchant SLA and seller quality frameworks from scratch
  • Understanding of EMI commerce and consumer purchase behavior
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration across Category, Logistics, Tech, and Customer Support
