Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead MEP discipline projects as Job/Project Leader, taking ownership of engineering delivery and client relationships.
  • Oversee multiple projects across the group, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Monitor job financial performance with Director/Partner support and manage resources effectively.
  • Prepare technical specifications and review the work/specifications of subordinates.
  • Conduct technical/quality reviews and participate in project design reviews.
  • Undertake site visits as required to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Contribute to group initiatives focused on technical development, market sectors, and delivery processes.
  • Lead recruitment and skills development initiatives within the team.
  • Guide and mentor junior Engineers and Technicians on assigned projects.
  • Support team members in Performance and Development Reviews (PDR).
  • Assist in business development through existing client relationships and project wins.
  • Prepare technical, bid, and additional fee proposals with Director/Partner support.
  • Report on technical, commercial, financial, and people performance of the team to the Group Director.
  • Ensure effective resource planning for projects and contribute to financial performance.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced technical and commercial leader in Mechanical & Public Health disciplines.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery across diverse geographies (UK, Middle East, USA).
  • Strong experience in a Workshare/Global Delivery Centre (GDC) context.
  • Ability to drive digitalisation and modernisation of project delivery processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide, and develop junior team members.
  • Strong collaboration skills, fostering teamwork and cross-discipline coordination.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, and IES.
  • Chartered institute accreditation desirable.
  • Bachelor's (BEng) or Master's (MEng/MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from a premier institute in India.
