Position - Associate Director Mechanical

Location - Gajraula, Uttar Pradesh

Job Summary

To ensure smooth functioning plant equipment and maintenance (mechanical) of Batch Process/continuous plants within allotted budget and manpower.

Should have good knowledge about various stationery and rotary equipment like pumps, compressors, mechanical seals, gear boxes, extraction columns, distillation columns (Glass/SS/Graphite), reactors SS/ glass lines, Dryers, centrifuges, piping, structural fabrication.

Utilities: Chillers,Furnaces,N2 plant, Cooling Towers

Reports To - Director (Production)

Matrix Reporting to Senior Director (Engg.)

Independent Decision Making

Responsible for Asset maintenance of Fine chemicals-I, II, III, IV, V, VI, ATFD, SRP & utility (N2plant, Refrigeration compressors & cooling tower)

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitating all hardware modifications as per plant requirement.
• Facilitating corrective and preventive maintenance of all rotary and stationary equipment like pumps, compressors, reactors, condensers, etc.
• Facilitating repair and maintenance of damaged process and utility pipelines.
• Review and Execution of Pipe Rack and Structure Strengthening inside plant.
• Ensure zero breakdown in all FC & utility rotary & stationery equipment's.
• Installation& maintenance of new equipment like, ATD, VTD, ANFD, MSGL & SS Reactors, centrifuge, hot oil unit, steam ejector, etc.
• CAPEX management along with One Time and R&M Budget.
• To ensure completion of structure painting as per Painting Budget.
• Manpower distribution with co-ordination of section plant incharge
• Review work safety & compliances during execution of work.
• Reporting and Tracking observation's in Sanchetna, Jagriti and ensuring to achieve 100% Compliance
• Preparation of BOM, TBE, Equipment Data Sheet, EHS sheet, WDV value, Risk Assessment Sheet & Submit Capex Proposal in Capex Management System
• To prepare Annual Budget & Monthly Expenditure Analysis Report for respective Plants and implementation of the activities accordingly.

Additional Responsibilities added to the Role:

In addition to the above, candidate will now be responsible for carrying out the following jobs related to Structural Safety & Environmental Hazards:

• Facilitating in execution of Capex related to Structural jobs in cluster area.
• Facilitating in executing the PSM Pillar related implementation in cluster area.
• Facilitating in execution of MI Meetings MOM's.
• Facilitating in preparation of all collective slides of Maintenance Indices of cluster area.
• Review of documents of IMS, WI, SOP, EAA, HIRA and L2
• Department audits of RC, IMS, System documents, compliance etc.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidate has done B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and has 20+ years of experience.
