Weplaya pivotal role in supporting the growth of our Asia Turner & Townsend business and take pride in delivering engaging, high quality and insight-based marketing and communicationin service of our ambitious growth strategy.
To supportcontinued business growthin our region,we areseekingan experienced and dynamicMarketing and CommunicationsAssociate Directorwho willprovide active supportto thebrand, marketing, communications and digital marketing plan and initiativesin India,a priority market for Turner & Townsend. This rolewill report to the Head of Marketing and Communications in Asia andwillprimarily focus onstrengthening our brand and profile in Indiathroughthe effective execution of our marketing and communicationsstrategyin the market.
The successful candidate mustdemonstratean ability to develop campaigns that supportthe marketing planand actively contribute to marketing strategies. This individual must be able to work withand influencesenior stakeholdersandcreate concise and well-written narrativesin a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will alsoberequiredto work withthird party suppliers including agencies, creativesuitesand partner organisations.Specific responsibilities include:
Strategy and best practice:
- Develop and execute an annual marketing plan and calendar forIndia. Support new campaigns and initiatives, including scoping, milestone management, stakeholder engagement, governance, promotion, launch and close out/ROI.
- Advise business teams on the right communications and marketing activities to achieve theirobjectives.
- Evaluate business cases and requests for marketing spend and support, as aligned with the marketing plan.
- Contribute to processes, systems and tools which create best practice marketing and communications approaches.
- Be a brand custodian inIndia, driving brand compliance, understanding and training within the marketing team, and broader business.
- Support Asia-wide and global marketing and communications initiatives, asrequired.
External communications
- Leadexternal communications activityforIndiaincluding award submissions, social media, collateral, and associated profile-raising activities, ensuring consistency in messaging across all channels.
- Manage media relations, including cultivating relationships with journalists, responding to media inquiries, and preparing press releases, articles, and other public-facing materials.
- DevelopIndia-centric copy of marketing collateralasrequired.
- Deliver flagship communicationscampaignsinthe marketto increase awareness of our brand.
- Develop and executeapprovedexternaleventand conference activitiesthat drive ROI andtarget market engagement.
- Leverageregionalsponsorships and membershipsto maximize engagement and measure ROI.
Internal communications:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication strategy to supportbusinessgoals andpriorities in the market.
- Create engaging content for a variety of communications channels, including emails, intranet,newslettersand internal events.
- Manage internal communications tools and platforms to ensure information is accessible and up to date.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications campaigns andimplement findings for continuous improvement.
- Work in partnership with the global Internal Communications team tolocaliseany global internal communications campaigns, ensuring all activities are fit formarketwhile adhering to brand guidelines.
Reporting:
- Undertaketrackingtodemonstratethe ROI of all communications activities.
- Produce and/or contribute to Board reportsand leadership reporting, asrequired.
- This role will supportour businessin Indiaandwillreport directly to the Asia Marketing and Communication Lead.

- Proven ability to lead and coach small teams, inspiring collaboration, accountability, and high performance to ensuretimelyand effective delivery of tasks and projects.
- Ability toprovideclearand actionabledirectionand deliverconstructive feedbackfor the team to deliver high-quality work.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Relevant degree inCommunications, Media,Marketing, Journalism,Englishor a relevant field.10+ years of experience across corporate marketing/communications. Familiarity withconstruction consultancy, advisory, legal, architecture, or real estate industriesis desirablebut notessential. Practical experience of how professional service organizations build brand and win work and of the marketing approaches that underpin them.

- Demonstrated experience of leading small teams andinspiringteam membersto deliver high-quality work.
- Superior written,analyticaland oral communicationsskills very detail oriented.
- Strong copywriting skills and ability toidentifyand shape key messages.
- An ability toidentifycritical messages and unique sellingpoints, andclearly communicate them.
- An ability tooperatein a fast paced, dynamic environment.

- Should be a self-starter andpossessa strong ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to tightdeadlines.
- Demonstrates theutmost inintegrity, with a solid work ethic, confidence, diplomacy, and credibility.
- Strong PC skillsrequired. Expert use of Microsoft Office package, especially MSWord,Exceland Power Point.Understanding ofdotmailer,Foleonisadvantageous.
- Workas part of the Asia marketing and communications function, in addition to working with global communications professionals
