Associate Director - Information Technology

Role Objective

The incumbent is responsible for the delivery, integration, and maintenance of key corporate and supporting IT systems. This includes managing supplier relationships and contributing to the execution of IT and business strategies. The role focuses on driving innovative business solutions to improve competitiveness and enable strategic goals through appropriate technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver, integrate, and maintain key corporate and supporting systems
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and multi-generational project plans
• Plan and execute project deliverables including estimations, risk planning, resource allocation, testing, training, and implementation
• Define and build key performance indicators (KPIs), analytics, and business intelligence solutions
• Manage third-party suppliers for solution delivery and evaluate supplier performance
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and resolve issues
• Lead change initiatives by fostering innovation and continuous improvement
• Ensure alignment with business strategies and IT governance standards

Skills Domain / Technical Knowledge

• Proficiency in software development methodologies: Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, XP, SCRUM
• Knowledge of quality frameworks like CMMi and ISO
• Experience in SOA, business intelligence, analytics, content management, system integration, portals
• Strong technical experience with Microsoft .Net technologies, HRMIS, and Oracle E-Biz
• Design and architecture expertise in n-tier and SOA-based applications (scalability, security, caching, multithreading)
• Hands-on development experience with VB.Net, ASP.Net, AJAX, JavaScript, Advanced Java, J2EE
• Proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases
• Experience in enterprise data architecture: data warehouses, data marts, data strategy
• Familiarity with estimation techniques: Function Point Analysis (FPA), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
• Understanding of web and Windows services
• Exposure to AI, ML, and emerging technologies in financial systems
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across all stakeholder levels
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and in teams
• Adaptability to change and strong time management capabilities
• Self-driven, enthusiastic, and capable of driving results
