Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analytics Strategy & Roadmap Development:
- Develop and execute a strategic data and analytics roadmap for the procurement function. The roadmap provides a clear vision and direction for how data and analytics will be used to achieve business goals.
- Continuously coordinate business needs requirements from Source to Pay teams to prioritize into the roadmap & define impacts on technology or data infrastructure.
- Partner with leadership team & governance committee to prioritize initiatives / use cases to be deployed based on cost/benefit analysis.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that will be used to measure the success of each initiative. Establish a monitoring and reporting framework to track progress and make data-driven adjustments.
- Data & Analytics Governance Process:
- Lead the data & analytics governance committee, engaging with stakeholders within procurement & the business to ensure full alignment to strategic roadmap and priorities.
- Establish robust governance mechanisms to escalate findings through appropriate channels.
- Establish and enforce data governance and data quality standards within the procurement department. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Data & Analytics Use Case Build & Implementation
- Own and maintain portfolio of prioritized analytics use cases to build & implement for Source-to-Pay
- Oversee a team of resources to gather requirements for various use cases and confirm implementation strategy (i.e., build vs. buy).
- Oversee implementation of data & analytics use cases in partnership with relevant stakeholders
- Procurement Data Management
- Oversee management of procurement specific content utilized across multiple platforms including Preferred Supplier, Buying Portal, Policy Compliance, etc..
- Oversee process and governance for spend taxonomy refresh.
- Executive Reporting:
- Support the preparation of high-level reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key procurement metrics, trends, and strategic insights in partnership with the functional strategy lead.
- Key Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate across procurement and the business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are gathered and well understood.
- Regularly engage with appropriate Technology and third-party stakeholders to drive execution activities of analytic use cases (i.e., building dashboards, etc.).
- Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the team.
Must Have Skills
- Advanced knowledge of procurement technologies and systems
- Proven expertise in systems integration, implementation, and project management
- Strong knowledge of procurement upstream and downstream processes and demonstrated ability to collaborate to identify and deliver integration and efficiencies
- Proven track record of leading implementation of procurement digital roadmaps Advanced data/information and analytics management (including cycle times, KPIs and SLAs), continuous improvement expertise, and project management skills
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights
- Experience with procurement technology and software systems, such as procurement ERPs (Enterprise Resource Planning), spend analysis tools, and data visualization tools

Basic Qualifications:
- B.S. / B.A.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant business experience
- Minimum of 6-8 years of multi-disciplined procurement experience
- Minimum of 3 years Pharmaceutical Procurement experience
- Advanced knowledge of procurement technologies and systems.
