Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identification of key issues and carrying out the relevant financial analysis
  • To lead smaller assignments from KGS and/ or assist in larger assignments reporting to Director/ PMD, with their limited supervision
  • Active and consistent participation as a Deal team member with high proficiency including usage and training of junior team members.
  • Prepare, update, and review initial/supplemental document request lists and manage gathered data effectively.
  • Prepare proposals and scope of work as required by the engagement team(s).
  • Prepare management discussion decks.
  • Participate in and lead specific sections in management calls; take notes in management meetings.
  • Prepare high quality FDD Reports including review of sections written by other team members on the job
  • Maintaining business contacts at PMD level (i.e. it is our expectation that Associate Director will make a positive commitment to maintaining contact with people they meet on transactions, who may become important providers of work in the future)
  • To contribute to the effective working of the team and development of team morale
  • To contribute to practice development initiative including people, team administration and solution development etc.

Educational Qualifications

  • CA / MBA Qualified

Work Experience


  • Relevant experience from Big 4 or equivalent Transaction Advisory Services practice.
  • Qualification: CA/MBA Finance.
  • Approximately 812 years of related financial due diligence work experience on buy-side and sell-side transactions.
  • Team management/people experience.

Mandatory Technical & Functional Skills


  • Strong analytical, issue identification/prioritization/ resolution and report writing skills, including understanding of key TS concepts relating to Adjusted/Quality of Earnings, Adjusted Net Working Capital and Adjusted Net Debt amongst other TS analysis
  • Team management/People experience.
  • Understanding of financial statements, financial ratio analysis, U.S. GAAP accounting standards, financial concepts, etc.
  • Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, and advanced formulas), Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Proficiency in technology tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Technical & Functional Skills


  • Strong skills in critical thinking, problem identification, resolution, and process improvement.
  • Ability to execute project plans, manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads and manage individual/team budgets
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and take responsibility for timely completion.
  • Preferred industry experience in one or more of the following: manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, business services, healthcare, financial services, or technology.
