Speciality Chemicals: The Specialty Chemical business of Jubilant Ingrevia manufactures Pyridine, Picolines and its forward integration derivatives, which finds application in agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyes, solvents, metal finishes, fine chemicals, semiconductors etc.

We have also launched new platform of Diketene & its value-added derivatives for multiple industry use. We are an established partner of choice in CDMO, with more investment plans in GMP & Non-GMP multi-product facilities for Pharma, Agro and Semi-conductor customers.

Chemical Intermediates: The Chemical Intermediates business has acetic anhydride and value added anhydrides and aldehydes catering to various industries.

Nutrition & Health Solutions: The Nutrition & Heath Solutions business unit offers B3 & Picolinates (Chromium & Zinc) which are fully backward integrated. Our ingredients find application in animal nutrition, human nutrition, personal care, etc. We provide high-quality feed & food additives having application in poultry, dairy, aqua & pet food industry. In Human Nutrition & Health Solutions, we offer food ingredients & premix solutions to nutrition.

The Position

Designation & Level: - Associate Director – ESG

Location : - Noida, Corporate Office

Key Roles & Responsibilities

ESG Strategy & Implementation

• Support development and execution of ESG strategy aligned with business priorities and growth plans
• Drive implementation of ESG roadmap across manufacturing sites (climate, water, waste, safety, social impact)
• Translate ESG vision into actionable programs with clear targets and KPIs .

Environmental Sustainability & Decarbonisation

• Lead initiatives on:
• Carbon footprint reduction (Scope 1, 2 & 3 where applicable)
• Energy efficiency and renewable integration
• Water conservation and waste minimization
• Drive projects such as fuel transition, biomass adoption, and emission reduction programs

ESG Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable ESG regulations, BRSR requirements, and internal standards
• Strengthen ESG governance structures, policies, and risk management processes
• Lead internal/external ESG audits and closure of observations

ESG Reporting & Disclosures

• Own ESG data management, validation, and reporting (BRSR, sustainability reports, investor disclosures)
• Manage disclosures for global ESG frameworks
• Ensure timely and high-quality ESG submissions and continuous score improvement

Supply Chain Sustainability

• Drive supplier ESG assessment and sustainable procurement practices
• Implement supplier code of conduct and ESG clauses in contracts
• Improve transparency in supplier sustainability reporting and evidence documentation

Sustainability & Resource Efficiency

• Implement sustainability frameworks and lead projects focused on reducing energy, water, and CO₂ footprints.
• Coordinate certifications for environmental, energy, and water excellence.
• Develop and manage the annual environmental business plan, including budgeting, objectives, and performance targets

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with Operations / Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR (DEI, training, workforce wellbeing), Projects / Engineering
• Embed ESG principles into business processes, capex projects, and expansions

ESG Data, Digitalization & Analytics

• Implement ESG data platforms, dashboards, and MIS systems
• Ensure data accuracy, audit trails, and real-time tracking of KPIs
• Support digital ESG transformation initiatives

Stakeholder Engagement

• Support communication with Board / ESG Committee, Investors and rating agencies, Auditors and consultants (e.g., Deloitte, PwC)
• Build strong ESG narrative and credibility for the organization

Team Management

• Build and mentor ESG team across sites
• Drive capability building (training, awareness, ESG culture)
• Ensure timely submission of ESG data from cross-functional teams.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• ESG ratings improvement (EcoVadis, DJSI, etc.)
• GHG emission reduction targets achievement
• Compliance score and audit closure timelines
• Supplier ESG coverage and assessment quality
• Timeliness and accuracy of disclosures (BRSR, ESG reports)
• Implementation progress vs ESG roadmap.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Bachelor's or master's in engineering / environmental science / Sustainability

Experience

• 12–18 years experience in ESG / Sustainability within manufacturing industry
• Proven track record in ESG strategy execution across multi-site operations
• Experience with ESG frameworks, audits, and reporting standards.
