You will play a strategic leadership role in driving enterprise-scale data engineering initiatives and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Defining technical strategy, leading the design and implementation of scalable data solutions, and overseeing the successful delivery of complex data engineering and analytics programs from intake through execution.
This role requires strong leadership capabilities, deep technical expertise, and the ability to build, optimize, and manage end-to-end data engineering workflows and modern data architectures. You will collaborate closely with onshore and offshore stakeholders, Data Operations teams, campaign and product teams, and business partners to ensure data platforms, reporting solutions, and analytical frameworks are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the Data Engineering practice including ETL, database management, and data architecture initiatives.
- Manage and execute the data engineering roadmap in collaboration with onshore leadership.
- Drive automation, analytics, and scalable data engineering projects.
- Oversee data structuring, transformation, cleansing, and pipeline automation.
- Ensure high standards of quality assurance and governance.
- Lead research, innovation, and AI enablement initiatives.
- Manage, mentor, train, and coach junior team members.
- Provide leadership, delegation, and stakeholder management across projects.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define scalable data solutions.
- Deliver executive-level reporting and presentations.
Required Skills:
- 10- 12 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or enterprise data solutions
- Advanced expertise in SQL, Python & Pyspark
- Strong experience with Databricks
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including Redshift, S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, and CloudWatch
- Experience with API-based data ingestion and scalable data pipelines
- Expertise in Tableau or Power BI
- Strong understanding of data engineering architecture and best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and business acumen
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage technical delivery
- Leading teams and managing large-scale data initiatives
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Streamlit or Dash for web UI development.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with media platforms such as Adobe, CRM, Social, or Programmatic tools.
- Knowledge of AI enablement and innovation frameworks.
- Experience with PDF-based data extraction.
