About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Endur Leader with a strong blend of functional expertise and technical depth to join our growing Endur Practice at the Vice Director level. This role is ideal for professionals who have led large-scale Endur implementations, driven complex solution architecture, and managed client engagements across European and global energy markets. You will operate at the intersection of business strategy, solution design, and technical delivery — leading multi-disciplinary teams while acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across trading, risk, operations, and IT.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Endur implementation, upgrade, and enhancement programs across gas, power, emissions, LNG, and oil markets.
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders (trading, risk, operations, finance) and technical delivery teams.
- Drive requirement gathering workshops and translate complex commercial, regulatory, and operational needs into scalable Endur solutions.
- Design and oversee full trade lifecycle workflows including deal capture, scheduling, nominations, pricing, risk calculations, settlements, and reporting.
- Define functional architecture and solution blueprints aligned with client business strategy and system landscape.
- Provide hands-on leadership in Endur configuration and development using OpenJVS, OpenComponents, Connex, Grid-enabled services, and Operation Services.
- Guide development teams in Java, .NET, SQL, and PL/SQL to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
- Oversee database design, schema understanding, SQL tuning, and performance optimization within Endur environments.
- Design and review custom plug-ins, simulations, user data worksheets, nomination updates, and data extraction mechanisms.
- Ensure proper memory management and technical troubleshooting within JVS and OpenComponents scripting.
- Coordinate with offshore and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless global delivery.
- Oversee testing strategy including SIT, UAT coordination, defect management, and release planning.
- Provide executive-level stakeholder communication, risk mitigation, and delivery governance.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and developers while contributing to internal best practices and capability building.
- Support pre-sales activities including solution design discussions, estimations, and proposal inputs.
- Ensure overall solution quality, scalability, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Required Experience & Skills
- 12+ years of Endur (ION) experience in delivery and leadership roles.
- Strong exposure to European energy markets (Power, Gas, Emissions); LNG/Oil preferred.
- Proven leadership in multi-asset class implementations.
- Deep understanding of: Endur configuration and architecture, ETRM system design, Trade lifecycle and risk processes
- Hands-on technical expertise in: OpenJVS & OpenComponents, Java, SQL / Oracle / PL-SQL
- Strong ability to bridge business and IT effectively.
- Experience managing global, cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Fluent in English (additional European languages are advantageous).
