ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Associate Director, Corporate & Tech PR, you will provide senior leadership across corporate & tech PR programmes and strategies. You will serve as a trusted senior advisor to clients, overseeing account team and performance, strategic direction, and delivery excellence across multiple accounts.

In this role, you are expected to be a self-driven leader who proactively identifies opportunities for growth, strengthens client partnerships, and contributes meaningfully to business development and commercial outcomes. You will also mentor managers and consultants, shaping strong teams and future leaders within the organisation.

Job Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Account & Client Leadership
    • Lead a client portfolio primarily comprising B2B corporate and technology accounts, with secondary exposure to Singapore government/public-sector and consumer brands.
    • Act as overall account lead for key clients, providing senior oversight on strategy, delivery, budgets, and profitability.
    • Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, managing complex stakeholder relationships and expectations.
    • Oversee and sign off on major client deliverables, reports, and recommendations prior to submission.
    • Ensure accurate scoping, resourcing, and budgeting for projects and retainers.
    • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, or escalations related to client delivery or reputation.
  • Strategy & PR Leadership
    • Provide senior strategic counsel across integrated communications programmes, ensuring alignment across multiple communications channels.
    • Lead the development of long-term PR strategies, including narrative frameworks and thought leadership.
    • Advise clients on emerging industry, reputational, or regulatory issues and develop communications responses.
    • Lead or oversee crisis communications planning and issues management where required.

  • Content, Influencer & Storytelling Excellence
    • Provide final oversight and approval on high-impact content including thought leadership, bylines, case studies, white papers, and senior presentations.
    • Oversee influencer/KOL strategies at a programme level, ensuring relevance, credibility, and regulatory compliance.
    • Guide teams on narrative development, messaging discipline, and content quality across channels.

  • Team Leadership & Capability Building
    • Lead, mentor, and develop Manager- and Consultant-level team members.
    • Support performance management, coaching, and professional development.
    • Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and capability-building initiatives.
  • Business Development & Commercial Growth
    • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and proactively identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts.
    • Actively support and lead new business development initiatives including pitch strategy, proposal development, and client presentations.
    • Build and cultivate new business leads and partnerships.
    • Coach team members on commercial thinking and business development skills.
  • AI Fluency & Digital Leadership
    • Champion responsible use of AI and digital tools to enhance research, insights, planning, and delivery.
Requirements

Must-Have

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in PR and/or integrated communications, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience managing B2B corporate and technology clients as a primary focus
  • Strong experience leading integrated communications programmes across PR, digital, social, and influencer/KOL channels.
  • Demonstrated business development experience, including pitch participation and revenue growth.
  • Influencer/KOL programme experience at a strategic or oversight level.
  • Self-starter with strong leadership, client counsel and presentation skills.

Preferred

  • Currently based in Singapore with experience working with multi-nationals as well as as public-sector communications landscape.
  • Experience managing regional or multi-market accounts.
