JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

This role is the senior commercial leader responsible for driving profitable topline growth of approx. $330MM through a key strategic alliance. It shapes and executes the partnership strategy, expands market opportunities, and steers crossfunctional and external stakeholder engagement to deliver sustained commercial performance. The role also ensures strong governance, market intelligence, and compliance to protect and advance the organization's strategic objectives

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Financial Leadership & Revenue Accountability

Own the commercial P&L for $330MM top-line via the alliance set the annual operating plan, drive price/mix, margin contribution, cost-to-serve efficiency, and deal economics to meet financial objectives.

2) Strategic Alliance & Partnership Management

Develop and execute partnership strategies to maximize joint value creation manage and grow the alliance relationship, negotiate commercial agreements, and oversee partner engagement across operational, commercial, and executive levels.

3) Channel Development & Market Expansion

Lead channel development to build pipelines, evaluate growth opportunities, pursue strategic prospects, and drive execution of business proposals to secure sustainable revenue streams.

4) Stakeholder & Key Account Management

Establish and deepen relationships with major customers, distributors, partners, and regulatory stakeholders identify client decision-makers, understand their business priorities, and orchestrate internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.

5) Cross-Functional Orchestration

Collaborate closely with marketing, regulatory, finance, operations, supply chain, and other support functions to integrate partnership initiatives, leverage functional expertise, and enable delivery of business objectives.

6) Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights

Continuously monitor market trends, competitor actions, and partner organization dynamics synthesize and provide timely intelligence and strategic heads-up to senior leadership on opportunities, risks, and required business model adjustments.

7) Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, regulatory standards, contractual obligations, and ethical guidelines uphold strong governance across sales, marketing, and alliance activities to protect the organization's reputation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • MBA / PGDM with 10-15 years experience in the pharma / healthcare industry
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
  • Proven track record of developing, executing and delivering commercial objectives through joint business planning and/ or medium to long range business planning.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prior experience in strategic partner/account management is desirable
