Associate Director - Business Development (LCG Ratings) - 8+ Years - Mumbai
We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to drive growth for our Large Corporate Group (LCG) Ratings business. The role involves acquiring new clients, strengthening relationships with existing corporates, and driving rating mandates across large corporate accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the corporate ecosystem, sound understanding of financial products and debt markets, and a proven track record in B2B sales and client acquisition.

Responsibilities:
- Drive origination and acquisition from large corporate clients.
- Identify and onboard new clients while expanding relationships with existing accounts.
- Engage with CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Heads, and key decision-makers to understand their funding requirements and position rating solutions.
- Identify unrated corporates and facilitate their transition to the rated domain for fundraising and capital market access.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and long-term engagement.
- Develop market intelligence, track competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and execute geography-wise and segment-wise sales plans to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, debt markets, and corporate financing requirements.
- Collaborate with internal analytical and operations teams to ensure seamless client servicing and mandate execution.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining high client satisfaction levels.
Requirements:
- 8–12 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, Relationship Management, Institutional Sales, or Corporate Banking.
- Strong exposure to BFSI, Credit Rating, Corporate Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Financial Services, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in both client acquisition (hunting) and account management (farming).
- Good understanding of financial products, corporate financing, and debt market instruments.
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities with large corporate clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and business development targets.
