Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary job function

Overall responsibility for driving and executing portfolio strategy across all therapy areas of the Affiliate in line with business imperatives and accelerated business growth. This is done in a very complex and dynamic external environment

Idea generation involving key internal and external stakeholders

Market and competitor research to identify opportunity areas

Developing a business case for new launches/revivals aligned to business goals, strengths, and capabilities

Execution of portfolio strategy with key stakeholders

Drive decisions new products to be launched, discontinued, and revived

Preparation of groundwork for product launches with key stakeholders

Work with various stakeholders to ensure successful brand launches

Responsible for prescription and prescriber growth for new launches and/or product revivals

Responsible for liaison with R&D team, Regulatory team, Quality Team, Manufacturing operations team, and Commercial team in launching new product development and product revivals.

Develop and manage the portfolio strategy for every key therapy area

Develop a business case for new product launch and/or product revival

Deliver the Perfect Punch for NPI / Launches through robust plans

Manage industry interfaces and keep the affiliate updated with and driven toward developments/ innovations in the therapy areas

Minimum Education

Graduate / Post Graduate degree / Professional Qualification

Education

  • Master's degree in science/pharmacy
  • MBA/PGDBA in Sales and Marketing

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

Experience

10-15 years of experience across in Strategy and Portfolio Management

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Functional & Technical Knowledge on NPI and NPI launches
  • Demonstrates creativity, innovation, and drive for results
  • High scientific orientation, stakeholder management, people management skills and ability to collaborate
  • Ability to influence, lead, and work with cross-functional teams
  • Analytical skills and strong financial acumen

Strategic thinking, Problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
